Yes, we’ve been away, but Duncan and Bo have returned with your first warning o impending doom… or perhaps it’s just a commentary on the totally rockin’ 80s sword and sci-fi movie, Highlander. We talk Connery’s exquisite Spanish accent, Lambert’s command of English and much love for the Kurgan. Kick on the movie, grab a bottle of your favorite feelings-hider and settle in with your pals as we head for the gathering!

The oft-quoted, highly influential The Silence of the Lambs gets the Duncan and Bo Come Correct treatment! We  talk the origins of the film (Gene Hackman was going to direct?!), early casting, additional scenes and so much more, while still fitting in time to sing our way through the Chris Isaak scenes. Also, did you know George A. Romero is in this movie? And why do we insist on talking about the movie Copycat in this commentary? Remember that you will need your own copy of The Silence of the Lambs as this is an audio-only commentary. You can find it easily here or here! We’ll be back next month with another commentary as we eagerly await the arrival of the Coen Brothers’ Old West anthology…

It’s all been leading to this! Before we hit up the doings of hosts and Delos, we tackle some topics like Ken Burns’s Vietnam documentary, how good Deep Rising is, The Last Jedi, the toxic nature of social media, and THEN we can talk Westworld! There’s naughty Picard, Duncan as hype man, the return of Brimley, and predictions for what is to come in season three! Thanks to all who followed us on this journey and we’ll be back soon with a new commentary!

The penultimate episode of Season Two of Westworld is here and we’re ready to pick over the juicy bones of this one. But first, we talk up the benefits of a spite-based life, Duncan’s trip to see Hereditary and a big discussion of the much-hyped The Neon Demon, a discussion of safety-focused American pastimes, and that’s all before we dive into this dense episode of Westworld! We’re going to get a LOT of William backstory, which means talking crazy theories about hosts, the new couple name for Ford and Bernard, how to know when Sir Anthony Hopkins has you in his sights, our new show “The Mesa with Maeve,” get into some conspiracy theories about William’s last moments in this episode, and send #TooWokeTeddy into the great Cradle in the sky! Also, some brief soapboxing on hype for horror movies.

The end is nigh! But not so you’d notice from us. We’re debating Black Panther, Duncan gushes over Hereditary and finally catches up with The Terror (spoilers from 23:15 –  40:00) while Bo brings up Jess Franco’s Daughter of Dracula and the nostalgic trip to Wayne’s World. Then, it’s on to Westworld where we find a story that has been hovering around the edges of this show for two season, and finds us both surprised by the emotional hooks in the episode. Also, the surprising musical interludes of this episode, Bo looks to Duncan to remind him what the hell is going on in this episode while in no way incorporating Duncan’s theories into his own, and we fawn over the construction of this episode’s timeline. Take our hearts with you when you go, folks!

We’re slightly delayed, but it’s worth the wait. How can you rush the introduction of our hit new character, Le Fouffe, or the hot takes on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom? There’s an above-average rip-off of The Thing, talk show cat burglars and more before we turn our attention to this week’s episode of Westworld. #StoneColdTeddy# goes off, William squares off against Maeve, and Dolores storms The Mesa. All this and more on the newest episode of Duncan and Bo Go to Westworld!

Then, it’s on to Westworld, where we find a new Teddy, an unusually contemplative Dolores, an awesome Irishman, and we chart Duncan’s spunk line. On this all-new episode of Duncan and Bo Go to Westworld, we give the finger to Westworld in favor of a detour into Shogunworld, which, as it happens, is totally rockin’. Also, Duncan updates us on his Ray Donovan binge, the Netflix anime Aggretsuko, and watching the best and worst of Friday the 13th with neophytes. Meanwhile, Bo caught up with the Netflix zombie flick Cargo, and has less than kind things to say about the Helen Mirren haunted house film, Winchester. Then, it’s off to Westworld where Dolores gets dark, Teddy gets more #TooWoke, Maeve knows kung-fu and Akane dances to Wu-tang. Enter the DunBoCo, it’s time to get samurai!!!

Load up those six-shooters, we have a banger of an episode this time around!  We dig into Netflix’s Evil Genius, Deadpool 2 and Downrange before getting into a super-spoilery discussion of the new film, The Endless.  Those spoilers run from 19:40 to 40:10 , so you have been warned. Also, a quick note on Sion Sono’s Tokyo Vampire Hotel. Then, it’s off to Westworld with Peter Mullan profanity and “furious” masturbation, Brimley semen, the dangers of Sector 22, the Event Horizon fan film in this episode, Bernard’s robotic promises, an early prediction we feel (surprisingly) confident in and much more!

Howdy, pardners!  Time for another trip into Westworld with your pals Duncan and Bo!  This time around, we debate if The Strangers is a period piece, puzzle over love for The Bay, and talk a little SyFy before diving into an action-packed episode.  Is #WokeTeddy now #TooWokeTeddy?  Do they just call the other park ColonialWorld?  Is Armistice the most awesome character in anything ever? (Hint: yes)  Lee goes Hee Haw, Dolores gets more villainous, and new arrival Grace may be a Delos operative.  All this and much more on this new episode of Duncan and Bo Go to Westworld!
